Our mission

“... we all hear them speaking in our own language about God's great deeds (Acts 2: 11b).”

His commission

When Jesus goes back to heaven after his resurrection, he gives his apostles the promise that they will be baptized with the Holy Spirit. But with the Holy Spirit they are also given the command:

"But when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will receive power and be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8).

We are convinced that this commission still applies to us in the 21st century.

Our mission

With Kefas, we want to tell refugees in their own language what is sung, prayed and said in a church service.

His blessing

This task can be a difficult one. For as a chapter later shows: Although the people from the various corners of the world hear the gospel in their own language, they do not yet understand it, and some think the apostles must be drunk...

Then Peter (Cephas, meaning "rock") steps forward and addresses the crowd and calls the people to accept his words!

We want to call on you to pray for God's blessing on these refugees. Let us pray that they may receive the Holy Spirit not only to hear the gospel, but also to enclose it in their hearts. We are only an instrument in God's hand to share His gospel.
